A memorial

Tanyna Dickenson seen above with Kilmarnock Police Chief, Mike Bedell, covered RivahFest for the Rappahannock Record, our local newspaper. Tanyna passed away from a three-year battle with cancer on Tuesday, November 13, 2000.

She was a bright spot and recorded the events of the area with compassion and concern. Her stories and expert photography were delightful, professional, and interesting.

Everyone in the community at large misses her, but especially her many business friends in the Kilmarnock Chamber of Commerce.

Her beautiful white dog, Lidia, was a constant companion. One Christmas parade, the dog was decked out in Christmas lights as she marched with her Rappannock Record family and friends.
