Chamber Christmas Parade

The parade starts from the Chesapeake Commons shopping mall parking lot at 7:00 pm sharp on the first Friday night of December. Units must be lined up on staked positions by 6 pm for float judging. Allow for delays -- plan to be there by 5:30 pm.

There is a Santa Claus tent in Augusta Avenue after the parade. Children can have pictures taken there with Santa by Picture Me. Purchases are optional and are not necessary to see Santa.

There is a contest at WKWI radio (435-1313) for children wishing to ride in the Santa Claus train in the parade.
