Event Overview
WHEN HELD:
The event is held the weekend after Memorial Day
in May.
EVENT DESCRIPTION:
- The event is oriented towards the kids of our community.
- The downtown is closed off, making a safe area for children.
- There are 12 games for children, including a moon walk, golf,
toss games, and an art scavenger hunt.
- There is a judged children's parade to encourage creativity.
Children decorate their wagons, bikes and scateboards.
- Booth's Furniture gives away free cotton candy.
- The Rivah Shop draws for free ice cream six times an hour.
- Entertainment runs all day including:
- Kick boxer
- Singing groups (gospel, Christian, 1950s, and country)
- Square dancing
- Youth groups
- Line dancing
