Children's Parade

The grand marshall from Middlesex wheels her way down Main Street. A girl Scout carries the flag, and Smokey the Bear leads the way.

No screaming fire trucks this time. Lots and lots of kids on bikes instead! And they loved every minute of it. The Kilmarnock Chamber of Commerce expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the Virginia DOT for allowing the closing of the street. There were 7,000 peole at the event!
